If you have granulated sugar, molasses and a food processor, blender or chopper you can make your own brown sugar! It smells and tastes amazing!

Servings: 2 cups (approx.)
Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
Instructions
- Place sugar in food processor fitted with metal multi-purpose blade, with unit running on low speed, drizzle in the molasses. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of molasses to make lighter or darker brown sugar.

Hi Linda – Thanks for reaching out! The other ingredient besides the sugar is molasses – which is another type of sweetener – Not sure if you can use?

Referring to the authors comment you may be able to use black strap molasses since it is the lowest sugar molasses if you are just limiting sugar and mix it with the Splenda. I would use a baking blend tho bc normal Splenda is Way too sweet to make brown sugar out of. I use Splenda allulose personally and love it and it’s a 1-1 swap for sugar.
